They refuse to butt out of local decisions. In short, I believe (gasp, shocking thought!) that **I** (and my neighbors) should choose the people who will run in our district to become our congresscritter. As a person who (horrors!) actually LIVES in my district, I am in a much better position to understand which potential nominee stands the best chance of winning the next election here than those who live in the Washington bubble. Out-of-state people don’t have a clue—so they should keep their mouths shut and their money in their pockets until AFTER local people choose the candidates. My money goes to my local (state) Senate District first, particular candidates second, with a small monthly contribution to the DFC for their good work. But the DCCC—not until they see the light!
